Anjali Swamy

A dedicated wildlife enthusiast, photographer, and conservation volunteer with hands-on experience in bird and butterfly identification, field surveys, wildlife documentation, and community-based conservation work.

Anjali Swamy is a wildlife photographer, guide and conservation volunteer based in Bidar and Bengaluru. Since 2022 she has led bird and wildlife walks in Bidar for students, individuals and organisations, helping them observe and identify birds, butterflies and the habitats they share. She worked as a watcher with the Karnataka Forest Department team searching for the Lesser Florican in the Bidar grasslands, and as a field assistant with BNHS mapping its habitat. She volunteers with Team YUVAA and is a co-facilitator with Living Labs Network and Forum.
