I am an interdependent and anti-disciplinary learner. My work revolves around making environments, technologies or mediums for information, experiences and often, dreams. My practice is currently situated in Bidar, where I learn alternative worldmaking with communities and find some ground-ing for imagining otherwise.
On learning
There is no distinction between learning and living. It is my intent to facilitate learning spaces where knowledge is not acquired but situated within the lived experiences of the learners. The process will be led by embodied experimentation, critical making and sometimes aimlessly walking together. The learning space will be fostered as a network of care - for people, places and practices.
Situated Practice
My practice is situated in the city of Bidar where I am not only encouraged to learn by sensing and listening to the rhythms of the place but also to bring my own sounds to it. It is a world where many worlds exist. Entangled in these many worlds, my work emerges out of the following long-term engagements in the place -
