I am an artist that works across media including video, sound and performative actions – the form and materials often emerge in conversation with my inquiries.

I am an artist that works across media including video, sound and performative actions – the form and materials often emerge in conversation with my inquiries. I am interested in the nature of media and its effect on the individual and collective consciousness. In a time of accelerated media, how can one create purposeful moments of contemplation while also inviting critical engagement with the medium? In my work, I ask questions and make propositions for reimagining what is familiar and inherited. My engagement in Bidar started in 2017 as an intern at the Bidar Heritage Center and Police Museum, followed by a Sahapedia Fellowship in 2018, to document indigenous police practices and the Dalapathi system in Bidar.
